Since 2011, our club has led a bike drive within Rotary District 7680 for the benefit of Trips For Kids' Recyclery shop in Charlotte. Donated kid-sized bikes are used in Trips For Kids' "Earn-a-Bike" program. Donated adult-sized bikes are re-furbished and sold at the Recyclery shop, with proceeds benefiting all of Trips For Kids' operations.
During "Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day", usually held in early June and again in early October, our club hosts a cookout for all participants of the Trips For Kids ride at Frances Beatty Park in Matthews, NC. Always a fun event. We are proud to support Trips For Kids Charlotte!
